Home Remedies For Cold


Introduction
Common Cold is a relatively harmless condition. It is a detoxification or defense mechanism to protect the body. There can be different causes of the cold. Tiny viruses present in the air, Enter into the body through breath then you infected by the common cold.

Symptoms of common cold
Some of the common symptoms are listed below:
  • Running or Blocked Nose.
  • Sore/ Scratchy throat.
  • Sneezing.
  • Fatigue.
  • Muscle Aches.
  • Loss of Appetite.
  • Cough.
  • Headache.
  • Mild fever with chills

Self Care
  • Inhale steam to relieve a stuffed nose. Cover your head and the bowl with a towel for a few minutes at a time. Be careful from steam because it can burn your face.
  • Keep distance from infected person from cold.
  • Eat proper food and take rest.
  • Drink necessary hot beverages.
  • Normal cold should be cured within 4 to 5 days. If cold is not cured within 5 days and you are suffering from cold, body pain, fever then it is not normal cold, Now you should go to the doctor.
  • Always, use tissue paper to clean your nose.

Home Remedies for Cold.
1. Basil
10 to 15 Leaves of Basil mixed with an equal quantity of dried ginger powder. Drink it as tea during the cold.
2. Ginger
2.1 Extract juice of Ginger and leaves of basil, mixed with honey. You need to take total quantity only one teaspoon two times in a day.
2.2 You can eat row Ginger or Drink as tea mix with lemon juice.
3. Honey
Honey contains bacteria and quality of killing virus. Mix one lemon teaspoon with one teaspoon honey and consume it.
