Introduction
Dislocation of bone - When two bones move from a connected
place, it is called dislocation or bone shifting. Two bones join on one joint,
but due to injury on this joint, the bones are moved from this joint. There is
also a lot of pain due to the movement of bones and swelling occurs at the
respective place.
Types of bone fracture
- Complete
and incomplete fracture - In this way, the bone is broken easily. In a
complete fracture, the bone breaks into two pieces, whereas in an
incomplete fracture, the bone is only cracked.
- Open
fracture - bone fractures bring pieces of bone out through the skin.
- Greenstick
fracture - It is also an incomplete fracture in which the bone is twisted.
This type of fracture is more common in children.
- Communicate
fracture - In this fracture, a small corner of the bone which makes an
angle is broken.
- Oblique
fracture - fracture of bone into multiple pieces
- Transverse
fracture - bone fracture
- Stress
fracture - rupture due to excessive pressure on bones
Reason:
- Fractures
can have many causes. Weak bone or cancer related to bones, cysts,
osteoporosis etc. Bone pain may also have many causes after a fracture.
- Nerve
additions around the bones, which become active upon breaking of the bone,
indicate pain to the brain.
- Bleeding
and swelling due to the breaking of bones, which causes pain.
- When
fractured, the muscles shrink and try to save the bone, which also causes
pain.
- In
case of any accident which affects the bones.
- Fracture
of bones also depends on the age of the person as the chances of fracture
increase with old age.
Symptoms:
- Unbearable
pain
- Stiffness
due to damage in nearby nerves
- Swelling
at the site of the fracture
- Instability
in the tissue surrounding the fracture
- Stopping
the fractured site completely
- To
faint
Precaution:
- Compress
the fractured area with ice. The swelling will reduce and the pain will
get relief.
- The
victim should rest completely. If possible, avoid moving the place
concerned.
- It
is also relaxing by having hot compress.
- If
the bone of the hand or leg is broken, keep it at a height.
- Massage
the area around the fractured area.
- Eat
half a pineapple daily.
- Avoid
eating red meat.
- Do
not eat preservative food.
