Home Remedies for Chikungunya.
In Chikungunya, symptoms of joint pain, headache, vomiting and nausea may arise while some people also have blood from gums and nose. Symptoms of chikungunya arise in about twelve days of the mosquito bite. There are many home remedies for the treatment of Chikungunya which can be used to protect oneself from Chikungunya.
1. Papaya leaf
Papaya leaf is not only effective in dengue but also chikungunya. In fever, the platelets of the body (platelets) fall rapidly, which are rapidly increased by the leaves of papaya. In just three hours the leaves of papaya increase the blood platelets in the body. For treatment, separate the stalk from the leaves of papaya and simply grind the leaf and take out its juice. Take two spoons of juice three times a day.
2. Basil and Parsley (Ajwain)
Basil and parsley are also very good home medicine for the treatment of Chikungunya. For the treatment, take dried leaves of parsley, raisins, Basil and Neem (Azadirachta) and boil it in a glass of water. Drink this drink thrice a day without filtering it out.
3. Garlic and Drumstick
Garlic and Drumstick pods are excellent for treating chikungunya. In Chikungunya, there is a lot of pain in the joints; in this case, massaging the body is very important. For this, heat the oil by mixing Garlic and Drumstick pods in any oil and massage the patient with this oil.
4. Laung or clove
Grind garlic on painful joints and mix clove oil in it and tie it on the joints with the help of the cloth. With this, patients of Chikungunya will get relief from joint pain, and body temperature will also be controlled.
5. Epsom salt
Take some quantity of Epsom salt in hot water and take a bath with it. Add Neem leaves (Azadirachta) to this water as well. Doing this will also relieve pain and control the temperature.
6. Grapes
Chikungunya viruses die if you take grapes with lukewarm milk of cow, but keep in mind that grapes are seedless.
7. Carrot
Eating raw carrots is also very beneficial in the treatment of chikungunya. It increases immunity power of the patient and also relieves joint pain.

Prevention:
  • Drink as much water as possible, drink lukewarm water if possible.
  • Get more and more rest.
  • There is a lot of pain in the joints during Chikungunya, for which, on the advice of the doctor, take Pain Killer.
  • Eat milk products, milk-yoghurt or other things.
  • The patient should grind Neem (Azadirachta) leaves and extract its juice.
  • Pay special attention to the cleanliness of the patient's clothes and his bed.
  • Eat more bitter gourd and papaya.
Chikungunya in Children
  • Take special care of children.
  • Children are fragile and their immune system is weak, so the disease catches them quickly. In such a situation, do not ignore their illness.
  • Children live more in the open, so there is a greater risk of infection and being bitten by mosquitoes.
  • Send children out of the house by wearing full clothes. Do not wear shorts and T-shirts to children during mosquito season. Apply mosquito repellent cream at night.
  • If the child is crying too much, sleeping continuously, restless, has high fever, body rashes, vomiting or any of these symptoms, see a doctor immediately.
  • Younger children usually have cold hands and feet, but their forehead and stomach are warm, so their fever is checked by touching their abdomen and taking a rectal temperature. Taking the temperature from the side is not the right way, especially in children. If the temperature has to be taken from the side, then add 1 degree to the readings that come. That would be considered the correct reading.
