Home Remedies for Cervical Spondylosis


Introduction
With age, there is wear and tear in bones. It also occurs in the bones of the neck. Cervical Spondylosis is a pain caused by bone wear, gaping or swelling in the muscles of the joint. All of this occurs in the neck bone called the cervical spine. This part of the neck of the spine is made up of seven vertebrae of the spine and the disc between them. 85% of neck movements is caused by the two vertebrae above. The discomfort caused by neck pain hinders it. Cervical Spondylosis used to happen to people above 40 years of age, but the life and livelihood of the present day have made children and elders patient of neck pain.

Causes
  • One reason is the use of thick pillows at bedtime.
  • Sitting in the same position for a long time, due to incorrect seating position. People who work long hours on the computer, dentist, driver, helmet holder etc. are more than others.
  • Students and individuals who hang heavy bags on their back or shoulders suffer from this.
  • This pain occurs due to an injury or fracture.
  • This pain also appears in some other diseases.
  • In the same situation, frequent use of TV, computer, video games etc. occurs.

Symptoms
  • Neck stiffness.
  • The Chatter sound while rotating the neck
  • Trouble rotating the neck
  • Dizziness
  • Pain and heaviness
  • Stretching in the veins shows symptoms of tremor in hands
  • Pillar in back of the head
  • Numbness of hands, loss of life

Home Remedies for Cervical Spondylosis.
Cervical Spondylosis is also known as neck arthritis. In this disease, there is a complaint of pain in the neck joint. These joints are connected in the cartilage, tissue and cervical spine.
Cervical Spondylosis occurs more often with ageing, but can often start with neck pressure, sit-ups, posture smoking, excessive weight gain, genetic causes, and lazy living. However, thetreatment of cervical Spondylosis is possible by adopting some home remedies. Let us know about some similar treatments
1. Daily Exercise
Not exercising regularly is also a major reason for Cervical Spondylosis. Neck pain can be reduced by regular exercise. (If any type of exercise increases the pain, then skip the exercise)
2. Hot and cold fomentation
Hot and cold compresses of the neck to get relief from neck pain also provide great relief. Blood circulation improves with hot compress while cold compress reduces swelling and stinging.
How to treat-
For hot compress, wrap the bottle of hot water in a towel and compress the neck. To cool the cold, wrap pieces of ice in a towel, compress it with that towel. While compressing, the neck should be continuously compacted for at least two to three minutes. Repeat in 15 to 20 minutes. Do these methods twice a day until you get to rest?
3. Garlic
If signs of Cervical Spondylosis are seen, the use of garlic can give very good results. Its medicinal properties cure neck pain, swelling and irritation. How to treat- Eat two garlic cloves every morning on empty stomach with water. Add some garlic buds and fry in any cooking oil. Cool this oil until it is lukewarm and massage the affected area. This method can be done twice a day.
4. Turmeric
The medicinal properties of turmeric are not hidden from anyone, but the good thing is that it is equally effective in the pain of Cervical Spondylosis. Turmeric relaxes neck pain by speeding up blood circulation and also reduces stiffness of the neck.
How to treat-
Boil one spoon of turmeric in milk and when cooled add honey to it, drink it twice a day.
5. Sesame Seed
Sesame is the best medicine in Ayurveda for the treatment of Cervical Spondylosis. Calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc, phosphorus and vitamin K and vitamin D are found in abundance. This is why it is beneficial for bones as well as the whole body.
How to treat-
Wring the sesame oil and massage the affected area for about 10 minutes. Do this activity three to four times a day. A few drops of lavender oil in hot sesame oil can also be massaged. Toast the sesame lightly and chew it every morning. Apart from this, roasted sesame seeds can also be drunk in hot milk. Drink about two glasses of milk a day.
6. Ginger
Ginger also shows excellent effects for treating Cervical Spondylosis. It accelerates blood circulation, which relieves neck pain.
How to treat-
Drink about three cups of ginger tea a day. To make ginger tea, boil ginger in water and add honey to it after cooling. Drink this drink. The affected area can also be massaged with ginger oil.
7. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar also shows a very good effect on relieving Cervical Spondylosis. It relieves neck pain and swelling.
How to treat-
Soak cider vinegar with a cloth and wrap it on the affected area and leave it for a few hours. Do this method twice a day. Two cups of apple vinegar can also be bathed by adding lukewarm water. Mixing raw apple vinegar and honey in a glass of water is also beneficial.


Prevention:
  • Do neck and shoulder exercises regularly.
  • Sit in the correct position.
  • Keep feet straight on the ground and back on the back of the chair.
  • Do not work continuously by bending or in the same position.
  • Periodically rotate shoulders, neck.
  • Reduce or stop using thick pillows and grass.
  • Pain is cured by compressing the neck a pain with warm cloth or rubbing it with ice, yet if pain persists, visit an orthopedic specialist and get treatment.
